Synopsis

The Fireblade, sacred symbol of the ancient Switchblade clan, was shattered into 16 pieces by the evil Havoc - but they say one Hiro can save it, and as Hiro you must collect all 16 pieces and restore the pride of your people. Gameplay is based on platforms and ladders, both indoors and outdoors. The layout of territories becomes visible as you progress, and they may contain bonus weapons and secret rooms. Unlike the sequel, you start without weapons, and this is earned directly, rather than collecting coins and trading them in shop sections. Maintaining fire gradually increases your combat power.
