Synopsis

After traveling from the Mediterranean to Persia in search of fortune, you are betrayed and captured by brigands. To save your life, you must enter the Fortress of the Dragon and recover the legendary Sword of Kadash.

This top-down action-adventure takes place in a maze of rooms and corridors filled with monsters, traps, and treasure. The player moves in eight directions and attacks with ricocheting darts, which can defeat enemies and interact with walls. Defeating monsters earns experience, increasing levels and hit points over time.

Weapons include daggers, morning-stars, axes, and swords, which can be enchanted up to +3. Better armor, rings, and weapons are equipped automatically when found. Players can also collect healing items, keys, scrolls, and holy symbols. Scrolls cast spells that temporarily frighten monsters, while cursed items remain cursed until cleansed. Secret passages, invisible walls, alarms, and hidden traps reward careful exploration.
