Synopsis

Sword of the Samurai simulates feudal leadership in 15th century Japan. Players take on the role of a young samurai warrior at the head of a small kingdom. You and your neighbors compete for land and perform feats to gain favor with your lord, fighting to win the shogunate. You'll spend your time managing your kingdom and traveling through feudal Japan, setting the stage for arcade sequences that will determine your position. Win the battle, gain land; defeat the swordsman, gain honor.
