Description
The System 246 is an arcade card developed by Namco in the early 2000s, based on the architecture of Sony's PlayStation 2 console. It allowed Namco to bring games to the arcade that benefited from advanced 3D graphics at lower development costs, such as Time Crisis 3 or Soul Calibur II. The name refers to the historical numbering of Namco arcade cards (System 22, System 23, etc.). This BIOS manages the system boot before loading the game.
