Synopsis

In this unusual spin-off of Adventure Island (based on the aforementioned Adventure Island-inspired anime), the player controls both Master Takahashi (Master Higgins in the West) and the eponymous lady bee Bugutte Honey as they travel through each world in search of eight hidden eggs.
After collecting an egg, the player is taken into an Arkanoid-style "bat and ball" mini-game where the goal is to exit through the top of the second screen (each of these levels is two screens high). Successfully leaving the Arkanoid level allows the player to obtain one of eight letters that make up a secret message: once this message has been fully revealed, the player moves on to the next world with four worlds in total.
