Synopsis

Tekken 3 Special is a pirate fighting game based on Tekken 2.

The graphics are taken from the original game and simplified, with the characters being hand-drawn 2D sprites designed to approximately resemble the 3D models used in the arcade game. The backgrounds are simple and not animated, often mirrored horizontally like many other pirate games on the Mega Drive in order to conserve ROM space. The music appears to be original. The end is a simple "Congratulations" screen.

The title screen and character icons are taken from the original Tekken 2. These appear to be the only items used directly from the arcade source.
