Synopsis

Tekken 4 is a versus video game developed and distributed by Namco on arcade machines in 2001, more precisely on Namco System 246, then adapted for the PlayStation 2 console. One of the big differences between Tekken 4 and its predecessors is the few characters available, since only 23 are playable, including 9 available immediately. The rest of the cast is unlocked by completing Arcade mode in a specific order. The game introduces 6 new characters: Christie Monteiro, a capoeira student looking for friends and her teacher Eddy Gordo, Combot, a robot created by Violet Systems capable of imitating the fighting style of its opponents, Craig Marduk, an undefeated vale tudo fighter and assassin of Armor King, Miharu Hirano, Ling Xiaoyu's best friend, Steve Fox, a young boxing champion who tries to find out more about his past, and Violet, Lee Chaolan's alter-ego.
