Synopsis

Tenant Wars is a board game for the Sega Saturn. Although the Saturn version was not released outside of Japan, the PlayStation port saw a limited release in North America as Board Game: Top Shop in 2001. The gameplay of Top Shop is inspired by that of Monopoly, but further develops the property management aspect. Like Monopoly, players move around the board based on the result of a die, purchase free properties when they land on a square, and earn money when they reach the bank. Getting an E triggers a random event, while falling on an elevator square can influence the direction of the player's movement.
