Synopsis

Tennis Cup is a split-screen tennis game with a camera placed behind the athlete's back. The game modes available are the exhibition match (singles or doubles), training, the Davis Cup or the four Grand Slam tournaments. The player controls one of 32 available tennis athletes or creates a new one. There are then 30 points to distribute between abilities (e.g. forehand or volley). This athlete can be saved to disk and improved over time. For exhibition matches, the opponent can be constructed in the same way.

The game includes different types of shots, depending on the player's position and timing. The direction of the ball can also be influenced when executing a shot. There are four different surfaces, which influence gameplay, and three difficulty levels.
