Synopsis

Terra Cresta 2 is exclusive to the PC Engine. It takes up many of the basics of the first episode, already developed by Nichibutsu in 1985.

The game is not a remake, but offers a number of homages to the first episode (notably one of the last levels, which takes up the first from the arcade version).

The original gameplay is also present, with power-ups via new ships (up to five). At the start of the game, you can choose each layout according to the number of ships. During the course of the game, you can choose to arrange them in a squadron, or to concentrate them all on a single craft, whose offensive capabilities are multiplied tenfold. When you're hit, you lose one of your ships. If you only have one left, you lose a life.
