Synopsis

If The A-Team looks familiar, that's because it's just a graphical hack of another unreleased Atari game called Saboteur. At one point, these games were thought to be identical except for the graphics, but after analyzing them, I found slight differences in gameplay. On this page I will focus on the differences between Saboteur and The A-Team, for more information on the gameplay itself check out the Saboteur page.

It's unclear why Atari decided to turn Saboteur into The A-Team, but we assume it's because they wanted a game based on the popular A-Team TV show and didn't want to wait for a new game to be developed. By this time, Saboteur was ready for release and Atari decided to attempt to integrate the A-Team characters into an already completed game. The results are interesting to say the least, confusing to say the least.
