Synopsis

The Big KO! is a boxing game that lets you compete against eight other boxers, from Heap Big Nose to Cheap N' Nasty, to become champion. You can name your boxer before viewing his statistics, including his strengths and weaknesses. The fight is presented in a side view, with the entire ring on screen and your boxer on the left. You can move sideways in the ring and deliver hooks (left or right) to the head or jabs (left or right) to the body of your opponent. Each hit scores points and fills a KO gauge, which decreases with each missed hit. Likewise, a strength gauge decreases as the boxer moves and punches. Once the KO gauge is full, the next hit will KO the opponent and the fight will be won. Each fight lasts three rounds and, in addition to victory by knockout, the boxer with the most points wins in the absence of a knockout. If you win, you receive a password allowing you to load the next boxer. Two players can play, and player two plays the fighter who was charged.
