Synopsis

In this single-player side-scrolling action game, the player controls a California grape through five levels in an effort to save the band and their band's musical notes that have been stolen by the band of jealous musicians. The player walks, jumps, climbs vines, moonwalks (by pressing the "select" button), and fires unlimited grape jelly beans as projectiles. As was the case with other Capcom games, like Mega Man and DuckTales, you can play the first four levels in any order you want, but the final level is only available after collecting the musical notes for each of the four levels.
The first four levels include the grape vine, the factory, the corn maze and the juicery. The last level takes place in The Clouds. During each level, you can collect "I" icons which give you temporary invincibility, regular black musical notes for bonus points, "Sunshine" icons to restore your health and "Raisinette" icons to give the player an extra life. Objects can also be located by shooting thin air or columns.
