Synopsis

"The Case of the Mixed-up Shymer" puts the player in the role of Sherlock Holmes' secretary. While the famous detective is busy with another case, the secretary answers a call requesting Sherlock's help. Deciding to take matters into their own hands, they set out to solve the case. On the island of Nursree, nursery school children are in an uproar – their beloved nursery rhymes have been mixed up. To restore order, the player must meet nursery rhyme characters and correct the rhymes. For instance, Humpty Dumpty survives his fall unharmed, but the player needs to make sure he actually breaks. The game is a text-only adventure, where the surroundings are described on screen, and the player must type in commands to solve the case.
