Synopsis

You are a lone adventurer, heading towards the sinister fortress perched on Craggen Rock. Your mission: save the peaceful Willow Valley by infiltrating the chaotic legions of the Black Tower and defeating their leader, the sorcerer Balthus Dire. You will have to use your grimoire, your sword and your intelligence to navigate the labyrinthine corridors and escape the creatures that you cannot defeat easily. The Valley is counting on you! A very faithful adaptation of the game book “Fantastic Challenges No. 2” by Steve Jackson, published the previous year, this video game offers illustrated multiple-choice scenarios, where you are the hero, thanks to infinitely scrolling pages of text. It also automates the random elements of the RPG: generating and managing your character's stats, inventory, and combat performance, usually determined by dice rolls.
