Synopsis

Based on the horror film of the same name, you play the main character Ash in a remote cabin in the woods where a diabolical evil is unleashed. The view is from above, and you only see the character's head and shoulders. The game board shows the interior of the cabin with doors as short white lines and windows as dashed lines. Details from the film include a swinging swing, the burning fireplace, and two old beds. You control Ash, who must fend off the evil that can enter through the windows to take over your friends Linda, Cheryl, Shelly, or Scotty. If someone is taken by the evil, they turn into a green monster. Ash can find weapons like axes and shovels to fight the monsters. You get points for each monster defeated. Ash's health starts at 10,000 and decreases as he attacks. The goal is to collect enough points to summon the Book of the Dead and burn it in the fireplace.
