Synopsis

Faces of Haarne is a single-screen shooter where you play as a strange creature tasked with protecting a face/head in the center of the screen from various objects that move across different levels. You can move around the screen and, to eliminate an object, you can throw your hat at it while avoiding being hit. Be careful, this action also has the effect of destroying it. If you or the face/head are hit by an object, a shape moves from right to left on a bar called "Face", located below the play area. When it reaches the left, you lose one of your four lives and the face/head changes. To move on to the next level and face new objects, a countdown is activated. When it reaches zero you advance to the next level, but if you lose a life the countdown is reset. Another bar, called “Music,” displays a shape moving from left to right. If this shape reaches the right, it returns to the right on the “Face” bar. If you lose a life, it returns to the left.
