Synopsis

In 395 BC. BC, as the Roman Empire begins to succumb to barbarians and their armies across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, you have the opportunity to save the empire by repelling enemy attacks in your various provinces for 12 turns. Each round corresponds to five years and is divided into three phases:

* Income and expenditure phase:
You examine each province and receive income, the amount of which depends on the number of tribes and enemy armies present. You can choose to convert your mobile legions to other troops or transfer funds to other provinces.

* Movement phase:
You move your armies through provinces, then the computer moves tribes and enemy armies.

* Combat phase:
You can attack your enemies to contain them or reduce their numbers.
