Synopsis

2010: The Graphic Action Game is a puzzle/maze game with elements of 2010: Odyssey Two in which the player must prevent the Discovery from crashing into the surface of Jupiter's volcanic moon Io. The player must choose one of five circuits to work on in one of the ship's critical systems: the engine, power, communications, life support, and HAL 9000. Successful power routing of a circuit allows each system to slowly come online. Three powered circuits are required for minimum operation, but four provides more latitude for success.

The motors and in-line power can be activated for orbital boost, but burning too long will damage circuit components. HAL 9000 can safely power the circuits you assign to it, although at a much slower rate than the reader. Communications allows a powered HAL 9000 to notify you of the success or failure of powering a circuit assigned to it. Life Support provides more protection against EMP-damaged powered circuits that require repair and re-energization.
