To provide context, House of the Dead: Overkill brings together Agent G, who has just graduated and still fresh and ready for his first mission, and a hardened partner far from finesse, Detective Washington. Their mission is to discover the truth about the nefarious plans of the psychopathic criminal Papa Caesar and are about to meet the unfriendly inhabitants of Bayou City. The original gore style of the series has been enhanced with a new graphic effect coupled with a retro B-movie atmosphere in the vein of Grindhouse. The thrilling plot develops to the rhythm of strong dialogues. Sensitive souls refrain! But the essence of a House of Dead lies in its frenetic action and its insane firepower which Overkill offers us without counting.
