Synopsis

The gameplay of The Humans has similarities to Lode Runner and Lemmings. Your mission in this action and puzzle game is to help prehistoric men evolve by helping them discover tools, the wheel, weapons or even fire. Each level of the game has a task to complete, and you have a number of characters who must complete that task. The player can switch between people while moving characters through each scrolling puzzle, and teamwork is essential for success.

Tasks can involve finding items (like a spear) on the screen, or trying to reach a specific destination which may require using the items you've discovered so far. Each level has a time limit. When the time is up, the level can be started again.
