Synopsis

After granting Princess Zelda's request and saving the kingdom of Hyrule from grave danger, Link sets off on his horse Epona. In the Lost Forest, he is ambushed by Skull Kid, a leprechaun who wears a mysterious mask, accompanied by the fairies Tael and Tatl. Skull Kid transforms Link into a small plant-like creature called Deku Scrub and steals his horse and his magical ocarina. Shortly after, Tatl joins Link and agrees to help him return to his original form. An encounter with a wandering mask salesman reveals that Skull Kid is wearing Majora's Mask, an ancient item used in curse rituals, which summons a menacing moon hovering over the land of Termina. Link has exactly three days to find a way to prevent this.
