Synopsis

The official Everton F.C. Intelligensia jersey is a football trivia game. Despite the title, it is not specifically about Everton as the player can choose to represent any top English team from the 1989/90 season and it asks questions about domestic and international football. All questions offer three alternatives and must be asked before time runs out. Some are accompanied by a photo.

The game is built around the FA Cup and, like in real life, Premier League clubs enter the competition in the third round. In each round the player must answer a number of questions which depend on the drawn opposition and whether it is a home or away match. Opposition from higher divisions leads to more questions being asked. Objectives are scored by answering questions correctly and the number of answers required depends on the difficulty level chosen. Similarly, goals are conceded by answering questions incorrectly.
