Synopsis

Orion Quest takes place in 2554, as the war between Earth and the planet Zarp reaches a critical point. The Zarps have planted a colossal bomb capable of destroying Earth and are threatening to detonate it if their demands are not met. Previous missions, which attempted to land on Zarp and retrieve the data needed for defusing, failed. Now there is only one hope left: the player plays the role of the only survivor of a mission shot down upon landing. After surviving the crash, he finds himself stranded on this hostile planet, with no way to return home. The game combines environmental graphics with textual descriptions, and interaction is done by entering keyboard commands.
