Synopsis

A jewelry heist goes wrong, with Mr. Burns' sidekick, Smithers, kidnapping Maggie and running away. Between one and four players take on the role of Homer, Marge, Lisa or Bart in this colorful, horizontal beat-em-up from Konami. Each Simpsons character has their own attack move. Marge is armed with a vacuum cleaner, Lisa has a skipping rope, Bart has his skateboard, and Homer fights with his fists. Players must fight their way through a variety of Simpsons-themed levels - such as Springfield and Krustyland - thugs, zombies, drunks, firefighters and several Simpsons regulars. Many Simpsons characters who do not appear as enemies have "cameo" scenes in the game (Otto working at a booth in Krustyland, for example). The archetypal “boss” character awaits players at the end of each stage. The game ends with a final confrontation with the evil Mr. Burns in his luxurious mansion.
