Synopsis

The Thing on a Spring star returns in this sequel. The evil Toy Goblin is up to his old tricks, with his giant toy factory producing thousands of evil toys. In order to shut down the factory, Thing must travel through the 11 different levels of the factory and recover the tape, floppy disk, listing and ROM chip scattered everywhere.

Levels are filled with slopes, conveyor belts, interconnecting pipes (years before Sonic the Hedgehog), and plenty of enemies to avoid. Question marks have varying effects: stepping on them reveals bonus points, items, or a large weight that crushes Thing like a pancake.

As Thing takes damage from enemies or weight, its oil level is reduced. When Thing runs out of oil, it becomes rusty and the game ends. To move between levels, Thing must enter the pipes through a vent and bounce through the pipes to find an exit.
