Synopsis

Threshold is a simple shoot'em up game. You control a spaceship at the bottom of the screen and must shoot several enemy formations at the top of the screen.

To make things more challenging, you have a limited time limit in the form of a fuel tank which will be refilled after clearing a certain number of waves. On top of that, your spaceship is equipped with a laser that has a tendency to overheat. Each hit slightly increases the heat bar of the laser. Once it maxes out, you can't shoot anymore and are forced to wait for it to cool down while slowly running out of fuel.
