Synopsis

ThunderJaws is a side-scrolling action platform game for 1 or 2 players. In a secret underwater base, the evil Madame Q is determined to dominate the world. To do this, she kidnapped thousands of young girls to use in her evil experiments. Players take on the role of members of a team of experts hired by the government to locate and infiltrate Madame Q's fortress and free the hostages. Once the submarine arrives at its destination, players dive to reach the base and must avoid mines and chemical spills, while battling sharks and enemy divers armed with harpoons. The interior of the fortress is very similar to that of Rolling Thunder, which is why ThunderJaws is considered by many to be the unofficial sequel to that game. Additional weapons are looted from defeated enemies.
