Synopsis

In Time Machine, the player takes control of Professor Potts whose main profession is building time machines. As terrorists bomb his laboratory, he is sucked ten million years into the past. During his adventure, he will visit five time zones with five screens each.

It's an adventure with action elements. Most of the game is spent manipulating objects in the different time zones that have an effect on a later area, e.g. planting a seed in the Stone Age will cause a tree to appear in later areas. He may also need to bring an object from time to time. In each area, there is a large puzzle to solve to get to the next area (the ultimate goal is to prevent the time machine from being destroyed), but constant travel between time zones is required.
