Synopsis

Toki no Tabibito: Time Stranger is an adventure game focused on text commands and dialogues. The player takes on the role of a policeman traveling through time, visiting important figures in Japanese history, answering their questions and gradually moving forward to the present. The majority of the game takes place in a first-person view, with the other person opposite the main character, asking and answering questions. There are a few third-person sequences where the player must return to their time machine before it leaves. Although the game offers a few alternative paths depending on dialogue choices, its narrative is fairly linear.
