Synopsis
Torvak, a barbarian, returns to his homeland after 5 years of exile. But instead of a warm welcome, he receives a telepathic message informing him that an evil necromancer has taken control. The next step is to traverse 5 levels while killing all of the necromancer's creatures, including a particularly fierce one at the end of each level.
The levels generally scroll, but it is sometimes possible to access underground passages through holes. This, however, has no noticeable effect. The gameplay consists of using the 4 melee weapons, each with 3 moves, to eliminate enemies without dying from their blows.
Useful bonuses can be obtained by destroying elements of the environment. In addition to health boosts and invincibility, Torvak also benefits from permanent buffs, such as an extended health bar, increased speed or magical enchantments for weapons. When an upgraded weapon is equipped, a powerful spell can be unleashed by holding down the fire button.
