Synopsis

Track & Field is a sports game that offers an experience inspired by the Summer Olympics. Events include the 100 meters, hammer throw, javelin throw, long jump, high jump and 110 meters hurdles.

The MSX version replaces the 110 meter hurdles with a 400 meter one.

The Famicom version removes the hammer throw and high jump, while the NES version reinstates the high jump and adds clay pigeon shooting, triple jumping, and archery. The NES version also retains the 110 meter hurdles, but drops the 400 meters.

To access the event or the next round, the player must qualify by achieving increasingly difficult maximum times or minimum distances. This game offers a two-player mode, where everyone takes turns.
