Synopsis

The wildly popular TRIPLE PLAY baseball series makes its debut on the Game Boy Color with TRIPLE PLAY 2001. You can play with or against any of the 30 Major League teams with complete rosters based on the 1999 season. You can also play in all Major League stadiums. Once you've chosen your team, try to hit as many homers as possible in the Home Run Derby. When you're ready for real competition, play a match against any opponent. When you throw, you can throw curves, fastballs, and change-ups. And when you're at the plate, you decide when you should hit for the fences and when you should hit for average.
