Synopsis

Another version of the ancient game of Mah-Jong. The player is presented with an arrangement of tiles, lined up together and stacked, with 2 or 4 of each from a range of designs. These must be removed in matching pairs, but only tiles that are visible and have a space on the left or right can be removed.

This version of the Activision Shanghai series includes three games as well as Classic Shanghai. In The Great Wall, tiles are stacked vertically and fall when lower tiles are removed, Tetris-style. In Beijing, spaces are created for sliding groups of tiles. The golden tile sees two players attempting to clear a set layout at the same time. The triple theme continues with three game modes: Solitaire, 2-player “Pandamonium,” and Arcade. Three sets of themed tiles complete the “Triple Threat”.
