Synopsis

Tube Panic immerses the player in a strange futuristic 3D world, where space battles take place in huge geometric arenas teeming with mechanical hordes. Equipped with a beam cannon to blast its way through waves of enemies, the player's ship continually advances along the walls of structures, with the camera positioned behind it; the view moves and rotates with the ship.
Movement speed can be adjusted, but the ship's battery is constantly draining; a total failure deactivates the cannons. Battery recharge is only accomplished by successfully docking with the mothership at the end of each mission, which also grants a score bonus. In the game's many tubular levels, the player will encounter indestructible obstacles, armored mini-bosses, and occasionally "warp holes" (which transport the ship safely a certain distance).
