Synopsis
Closer to the demo than the game, this second SID work, a true tour de force, fuses art and melody into an ethereal and marvelous experience. With the help of studio CRL and distributor Nu Wave, Mike Oldfield released an interactive version of the album for the Commodore 64 in 1986. This used the computer's SID sound chip to play a simplified rearrangement of the album, accompanied by some 2D visual effects. The "interactivity" offered by the album/program was limited to controlling the speed and intensity of the visual effects, adjusting the volume and sound filtering, as well as the possibility of accessing any part of the album.
