Turris
Synopsis
Turris offers cerebral strategy in its purest form. The towers are erected on a square board of 6x6 squares. With each move, the builder adds a floor to a free or already occupied square. Depending on their direct neighbors, the huts support different heights: a corner tower collapses at two storeys, those on the edges wobble at three, and all the others collapse at four. When a tower collapses, its floors are distributed among neighboring squares, which then become the property of the initial player. The floors already present on these squares — whoever owns them — also come under its control. This creates unpredictable chain reactions, the source of the intensity of the game. The winner is the one who manages to drive the opponent off the board using his tricks.
