Synopsis

Rhaaa, the X-men: always a pleasure. And yet, it was not a foregone conclusion: colorful but relatively basic graphics, average animation because little variation and sound part of the same ilk. The controls are basic: strike, jump and special move, accompanied by a projection and a blow to finish off enemies on the ground (these blows are different depending on the character chosen, Wolverine, Diablo, Tornado, Colossus, etc. but are not very impressive visually)....
But, because there is a but, the game still manages to hook us for a very simple reason: MULTIPLAYER! The game was designed for that. First of all, it can be played by 6 players simultaneously (in this case, the definition of the screen increases and is designed for an enlarged screen type 16/9) but it offers for all players, not a points counter but a counter of defeated enemies (it is located at the top left on the screenshot and displays 0002 for player 1). And as a result, it's inevitably a race for the one who will finish off the most enemies.
Of course, played alone, it loses a lot of its appeal, and is no match for traditional beat 'em ups. But if you have friends, give it a try, you won't regret it...
