Synopsis

The Runes of Virtue mini-series is made up of 2 episodes released on Gameboy, the second having been adapted for Snes. It is a spin-off of the famous Ultima role-playing game saga, adopting the same top view, but much more action-oriented. Here we direct one of the characters well known to fans to choose from Shamino the ax throwing ranger, Maria the magician with fireballs, Lolo the bard armed with his bow and finally Dupré the warrior who strikes on contact with his sword. The goal of the game is to explore a very vast world made up of very varied exteriors (forests, swamps, mountains, etc.) as well as villages, castles and even labyrinthine caves, all in order to find and deliver the mayors of the cities of Britania (the world of Ultima) who have been kidnapped by the Black Knight.
