Synopsis

If Ultima 6 was faithful to the original PC version, Ultima 7 on Snes takes a lot of liberties. We thus go from a classic micro role-playing game with turn-based combat and a team to manage, to an action-RPG with real-time combat and a single hero to lead. The differences do not stop there with a much less vast and complex world to explore and above all a very watered down scenario since if in the original version we investigated horrible ritual murders having been perpetrated in the cities of Britania (the heroic-fantasy world in which the story takes place), the victims here were only kidnapped!
