Synopsis

Deconstruct me! is a traditional side-scrolling platformer: Alex jumps through linear levels and attempts to avoid a variety of instantly deadly obstacles like lava pits, lasers, or homing missiles. However, Alex uses a jetpack to jump, allowing him to cover longer distances per jump, as usual. The jetpack only contains a limited amount of fuel which is filled on contact with the ground. Reaching a checkpoint has two meanings: Alex reappears here after dying and destroys part of the background. After reaching the end of the level, the entire background image is exposed and a goddess released. The player has an infinite number of attempts to complete the challenges of the nine levels.
