Synopsis
In Under Defeat, one or two players control a helicopter across five levels. Each level has its style of enemies: tanks, helicopters, as well as an end-of-level boss. Once the player has completed all five levels, the game begins a second loop on level 2-1, a mirrored version of level 1-1 with increased difficulty and a changed background. Once level 2-5 is completed, the game is over.
