Synopsis
Under Defeat is a top-down vertical shooter originally released on Naomi arcade machines and later ported to the Dreamcast as one of the last games to be released on that system. The game takes place in an alternate universe of World War II, where players pilot the newest war machines - prototype helicopters. While the gameplay is fairly typical of a vertical shooter, the game innovates by allowing players to slightly tilt their vehicles left and right, thus changing the angle of their shot.
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions include 16:9 HD graphics as well as the original "arcade port mode" game mode.
