Synopsis

Sniff! The first game I ever played in my life. I played on my dad's lap, he directed the hero and I shot the monsters. ;')
It's impossible to look at this game with today's eyes, it's of course far too basic. However, you should know that this game is one of the pioneers of console adventure games. You control a barbarian archer (if we look at the game's cover, the hairy-chested guy with his bow) represented by a small red ball. No action possible on the main screen except moving. On this screen, you must enter one of the four rooms of the dungeon while avoiding the green monsters which are invincible. In each room there is a musical theme and different enemies. The goal is to grab the treasure and run away. When the 4 rooms of the dungeon have been emptied: well done next dungeon. There are only 3 dungeons that must be done several times (in fact the game has no end). The most stressful moment of the game is when you wait too long in a room and one of the green monsters from outside manages to infiltrate and rush straight towards you. It's really terrifying, the music, although basic, really made me stand out as a kid! Venture is basic but it's an atmosphere. If you're not put off by really old games, this is worth a try.
