Synopsis

Vigilante is a side-scrolling beat-em-up. It features a tough character who takes to the streets to fight the Rogues gang who kidnapped his girlfriend Maria. The game features five distinct locations, such as city streets and a junkyard, with many thugs with different characteristics. You fight with your fists, feet and a chain, standing, crouching as well as jumping attacks. Each level has a final boss that requires specific tactics. Enemies continually spawn from the left and right sides of the screen until the boss is reached. You must therefore advance at a sustained pace to reach the end of the level before time runs out. When enemies get too close, they grapple the character and quick left and right taps are required to free him, as he is then vulnerable to attacks.
