Description
A game from SEGA's 3D "Virtua" series. Here you drive a Formula 1 on 3 circuits with checkpoints to reach in a limited time.
It's very fluid, the simulation is quite successful with a well-balanced difficulty, however we would like to have the original car to feel the bumps of the track and hold on to the steering wheel.
Graphics-wise it's simple, there was no texture yet on the faces of the polygons but that's not disturbing when you're immersed in the race. Note a rather sophisticated sound ambiance, a little catchy music when you pass a checkpoint, sound attenuation in the tunnel.
A good game that hasn't seen many wrinkles since 1992.
