Virtua Tennis III
Synopsis
Virtua Tennis 3 is the third main arcade installment of the SEGA tennis series, developed by SEGA AM3 and released in 2006 on SEGA Lindbergh hardware. Known in Japan as Power Smash 3, it brings finer graphics, smoother player animation and international courts, while retaining the fast and accessible style that made the series successful.
Designed for short, competitive matches, the game features singles and doubles, simple controls, and a roster of professional players including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams, and Amélie Mauresmo. Its realistic movement, clear presentation and immediate gameplay made it one of the defining sports titles of the SEGA Lindbergh arcade era.
