Synopsis

Vortron is a one or two player shooter in which you must protect a core from invading aliens across nine levels. The game area is a screen and the core is in the middle of the screen. With your ship, you must move around the screen shooting all the aliens that pass on the screen. The core has slowly decreasing energy, as shown by a bar at the top of the screen. You have to shoot a certain number of aliens before the energy completely diminishes. You can move your ship in any direction, but once moving, the ship does not stop and can easily bounce out of control.
