Synopsis

In the middle of the first century, the Romans invaded Britain, subduing tribe after tribe and extending their rule over the island. The further north they advanced, the more resistance intensified, until they reached the border between England and Scotland, where their advance was halted. Despite their efforts, they failed to defeat the Scottish tribes led by a northern warlord. The struggle became so violent that the gods themselves got involved, and the fury of the armies and the divinities threatened to hasten the end of the world. An armistice was then concluded between the gods: each would choose a champion, transported to the Celtic Other World, and the one who first managed to return to the real world would be declared the winner. You are the chosen warlord for the Celts, while a Roman centurion will try to beat you to it.
