Synopsis

Wayne Gretzky Hockey 2 is a top-down hockey game. The player participates in a match against Canada or the United States. There are many options for changing match settings, for example difficulty level, speed or referee behavior. The editor offers the ability to create new tactics or team compositions, as well as edit athletes' abilities and names. Unlike most other sports games, the athletes are controlled indirectly: the player uses the input device to tell the athlete where to move. The active athlete can be changed.

It is essentially the same game as its predecessor. The main new features are additional match options and a cooperative game mode.
